VIDEO: Jimmy Fallon duets with Stevie Nicks as Tom Petty

Jimmy Fallon – as Tom Petty – joined Stevie Nicks for a live re-creation of her classic 1981 video for "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" Wednesday on The Tonight Show.

The pair were introduced by Nirvana members Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic, who appeared as guests on the program the night before their induction into the 2014 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.

"Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" was the first single from Nicks' 1981 debut solo album, “Bella Donna.” The
track was originally written Petty and guitarist Mike Campbell as a Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers song, but producer Jimmy Iovine – who was also working for Nicks at the time – arranged for her to sing on it.

The song peaked at No. 3 on the US Billboard Hot 100 for 6 consecutive weeks.

Nicks and Fleetwood Mac have been making headlines since they announced the return of Christine McVie for a North American tour this fall.

The On With The Show Tour sees the reunion of the band’s hugely successful mid-1970s lineup, which cranked out hit albums like 1975’s self-titled release, 1977’s “Rumours” and 1979’s “Tusk.”
