VIDEO: Robert Plant launches summer tour in Morocco

Robert Plant launched his summer tour with The Sensational Space Shifters at the Mawazine Festival in Rabat, Morocco on Thursday, and video from the event is available.

The group will be on the road for seven weeks through mid-July before taking a break in theier live schedule.

Plant will release a new solo album on September 9th.

The Led Zeppelin singer primarily worked on the project at Peter Gabriel‘s Real World Studios in southwestern England.

This past week, Plant and Led Zeppelin launched the start of their reissues project with the release of expanded editions of “Led Zeppelin I”, “Led Zeppelin II” and “Led Zeppelin III” – each with a companion disc of bonus material.

Deluxe editions of the group’s first three albums are the first part of an extensive reissue program that will see all nine of the band’s studio albums reissued in chronological order, each remastered by guitarist/producer Jimmy Page.
