Slash reveals the musicians who inspired him to pick up the guitar in the latest episode of his web series, “Ask Slash.”
The rocker recently released a lyric video for the title track from his forthcoming album, “World On Fire.”
Due September 16, the guitarist’s third solo album is the follow-up to 2012’s “Apocalyptic Love.”
Slash will be on the road this summer across North America with Aerosmith on the Let Rock Rule tour, with dates starting Thursday in Wantagh, New York.
The guitarist will warm-up for the trek with a show on Wednesday at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire.
