VIDEO: On stage with KISS drummer Eric Singer

KISS are sharing on stage video of drummer Eric Singer performing “Cold Gin” during the band’s July 20th concert in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Written by original guitarist Ace Frehley, the song appeared on the band’s 1974 self-titled debut album. According to legend, Frehley lacked confidence in his singing ability at the time, so bassist Gene Simmons handled lead vocals, despite his dislike of alcohol.

“Cold Gin” is featured as one of 9 tunes from the band’s classic 1970s era in their standard 15-song set as part of their summer tour with Def Leppard.

The KISS/Def Leppard run wraps up August 31 in Houston, Texas.

This fall, KISS will follow Guns N’ Roses’ and Motley Crue’s lead and play their first Las Vegas residency.

“KISS Rocks Vegas” will see the band perform 9 shows at The Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino between November 5th and 23rd.
