VIDEO: Foo Fighters featured on 60 Minutes



The Foo Fighters were featured on CBS' long-running news series 60 Minutes over the weekend.

Reporter Anderson Cooper caught up with the band at New Orleans’ iconic jazz venue Preservation Hall this past spring while they were on site to write and record a song (“In The Clear”) for their forthomcing album, “Sonic Highways.”

Dave Grohl speaks at length with Cooper about the project and the passion he still carries for music 20 years into the band’s career and more than 30 years after attending his first live show.

Due November 10, “Sonic Highways” was recorded in eight American cities – Austin, Chicago, Los Angeles, Nashville, New Orleans, New York, Seattle and Washington, D.C.

The Foos are unveiling new tunes eack week in sync with their 8-part HBO series of the same name, which premiered October 17.
