VIDEO: Foo Fighters perform Something From Nothing on Letterman



The Foo Fighters wrapped up their week-long residency on The Late Show with David Letterman Friday with a performance of their new single, “Something From Nothing”, featuring Cheap Trick guitarist Rick Nielsen.

The Foos were on the program to promote their 8-part HBO series, “Sonic Highways”, which chronicles the making of the band’s forthcoming album of the same name, out November 10.

The group recorded the project in eight American cities – Austin, Chicago, Los Angeles, Nashville, New Orleans, New York, Seattle and Washington, D.C.
