AC/DC to launch new album Rock Or Bust in Sydney

AC/DC will launch their new album, “Rock Or Bust”, with a listening party for fans at The Rock in Sydney, Australia on November 23.

The Daily Advertiser reports Sony Music and Alberts will host the worldwide launch of AC\DC's 16th studio album at The Rock's market day at noon on the 23rd.

While the band will not be in attendance at the launch, the event provides those in attendance the chance to be the first in the world to listen to the new album ahead of its release in Australia on November 28.

“Rock Or Bust” will be issued in North American on December 2.

AC/DC recorded the project at Vancouver’s Warehouse Studio with producer Brendan O’Brien (Aerosmith, Pearl Jam) and engineer Mike Fraser.

Angus and Malcolm Young’s nephew, Stevie, handled rhythm guitar on the album after Malcolm stepped away from the group to deal with ongoing health issues related to dementia, according to his family; he is now officially retired from AC/DC.

The group will launch a world tour in support of “Rock Or Bust” in 2015.
