AC/DC to launch SiriusXM channel

AC/DC will launch a limited-run promotional channel on satellite radio provider SiriusXM as the group prepares to issue its first new album in six years, “Rock Or Bust”, on December 2.

SiriusXM's AC/DC Radio will air Wednesday, November 26 through Sunday, December 7 via satellite on channel 25 and through the SiriusXM Internet Radio App on smartphones and other connected devices, as well as online at siriusxm.com.

AC/DC members Angus Young and Brian Johnson will help launch the short-term promotional project with a live Town Hall broadcast on Thursday, November 27 at 12 PM ET via satellite on AC/DC Radio.

Moderated by “Rock Or Bust” producer Brendan O'Brien, the event will see the pair answering questions about their legendary career and new album from a studio audience of SiriusXM listeners.

AC/DC recorded the album at Vancouver’s Warehouse Studio with O’Brien (Aerosmith, Pearl Jam) and engineer Mike Fraser.
