AC/DC debut on UK album charts

AC/DC have debuted at No. 3 on the UK album charts with “Rock Or Bust.”

The Official Charts Company reports the feat delivers the band their 18th UK Top 40 album.

AC/DC’s first album in 6 years was recorded this past spring at Vancouver’s Warehouse Studio with producer Brendan O’Brien (Aerosmith, Pearl Jam) and engineer Mike Fraser.

The band launched the project with the lead single, “Play Ball”, and recently issued the title track as the record’s second single.

AC/DC are planning a 2015 world tour in support of “Rock Or Bust.”
