The Rolling Stones have announced a 15-date summer stadium tour of North America.
The “Zip Code Tour” will open in San Diego on May 24 at Petco Park, with stops in Columbus, Minneapolis, Dallas, Atlanta, Orlando, Nashville, Pittsburgh, Milwaukee, Kansas City, Raleigh, Indianapolis, Detroit and Buffalo before wrapping in Quebec on July 15 at Le Festival D’Été de Québec.
The trek marks the first time the band have played North American stadiums since 2005-2007’s A Bigger Bang Tour.
“We are excited to be back in North America playing stadiums this summer!,” says Mick Jagger. “We are looking forward to being back on stage and playing your favorite songs.”
“We love being out on the road and it is great to come back to North America!,” adds Keith Richards. “I can’t wait to get back on the stage!”
An American Express pre-sale starts Wednesday, April 8.
General public tickets will gon on sale Monday, April 13.
The Stones last played North America in 2013 on the “50 And Counting” tour: the band opened the run in Los Angeles in May and wrapped things up in Los Angeles six weeks later.
