AC/DC to be inducted into The Age Music Victoria Hall Of Fame

AC/DC have been named as one of 10 acts that will be inducted into The Age Music Victoria Hall Of Fame in Australia this November.

The Age reports AC/DC will be honored alongside John Farnham, Olivia Newton-John, The Seekers and others (complete list below) at a November 20 concert at the Palais Theatre headlined by Farnham.

AC/DC will be in Australia in November and guitarist Angus Young said Melbourne, where the group lived and made their earliest albums, still has enormous significance for the band after 40 years of recording, touring and selling over 200 million albums.

"Victoria has a special place in our hearts, especially the early years of the band," says Angus. "Thank you for the induction into The Age Music Victoria Hall of Fame. It is an honor."

AC/DC are currently on a world tour in support of their latest album, “Rock Or Bust.”
