Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell has announced dates for a fall acoustic tour of North America in support of his forthcoming album, “Higher Truth.”
The 6-week theater tour will see Cornell perform material from his entire career alongside tunes from “Higher Truth”, which will be released on September 18.
Shows begin September 20 in Los Angeles and will wrap up at Austin City Limits Live At The Moody Theater on November 2.

Fans who signed up for the Chris Cornell e-mail list at chriscornell.com received an exclusive link and code word to buy tickets today in advance of the public sale, which begins on June 5 and June 6.
$1 from every ticket sold will go to the Chris And Vicky Cornell Foundation, a charitable organization that helps to protect the most vulnerable children facing problems such as homelessness, poverty, abuse or neglect.
Cornell will follow the North American shows with a tour of New Zealand and Australia starting in late November.
The singer will regroup with Soundgarden to record and release a new album in 2016.
