Fleetwood Mac postpone Birmingham show due to illness

Fleetwood Mac have postponed a June 9 show at the Genting Arena in Birmingham due to illness.

The concert has been rescheduled to Tuesday, July 7 and all tickets remain valid for the new date.

Refunds are also available at point of purchase.

No further details were provided regarding which band member(s) are affected with a health issue at this time.

The On With The Show Tour sees the return of keyboardist Christine McVie, creating a reunion of the group’s hugely successful mid-1970s lineup, which cranked out hit albums like 1975’s self-titled release, 1977’s “Rumours” and 1979’s “Tusk.”

The group’s next scheduled show is at the Manchester Arena on June 12.

Fleetwood Mac’s current European tour is set to wrap up in Dublin, Ireland on July 11 before the band takes an extended break from the road.

The band will return to live action in October when they launch an Australian tour.
