VIDEO: Foo Fighters Rickroll protesters prior to Kansas City show

The Foo Fighters performed a “Rickroll” on a group of protesters from the Westboro Baptist Church prior to their concert at the Sprint Center in Kansas City on Friday.

KMBC Kansas City reports Dave Grohl and his bandmates hopped into the back of a truck and rode through the streets outside the venue while blasting Rick Astley's 1980s pop song "Never Gonna Give You Up" from loudspeakers in front of a group of protesters from the controversial religious group.

Drummer Taylor Hawkins could be seen holding a poster that read, "You Got Rick Roll'd (Again)."

"Rickrolling" is an internet prank misdirecting web surfers to a video of Astley's song.

Foo Fighters confronted protesters from the same group before a 2011 Kansas City concert (video below).

The group are currently playing shows on a North American tour in support of “Sonic Highways.”
