Def Leppard debut in US Top 10

Def Leppard’s new, self-titled album has debuted in the US Top 10.

Billboard reports the project has entered the Billboard 200 chart at No. 10 with first-week sales of just over 30,000 units.

Recorded earlier this year at frontman Joe Elliott's studio in Dublin, Ireland, “Def Leppard” marks the group’s seventh US top 10 album.

The group’s 11th record and first new album in 7 years was previewed with the lead single “Let’s Go.”

Def Leppard begin live dates starting November 9 in Tokyo before playing shows in Australia and Singapore, and a December UK tour with Whitesnake and Black Star Riders.

The band will return to North America in the New Year to perform on a month-long US tour with Styx and Tesla.
