Pearl Jam confirm 2016 tour planned

Pearl Jam have confirmed plans that they will hit the road for a tour in 2016.

“We will announce some tour dates first part of the year”, revealed band manager Kelly Curtis during a live Twitter chat as he and bassist Jeff Ament took questions from fans.

The run will coincide with the 25th anniversary of the band’s 1991 debut “Ten.”

Asked if Pearl Jam had any plans to mark the occasion, Curtis confirmed “Yes, can't say anything yet.”

The Seattle rockers previously celebrated their 20th anniversary with the documentary and book “Pearl Jam Twenty” and a two-day festival in Alpine Valley, Wisconsin.

Pearl Jam recently wrapped up their 2015 live schedule with a South American tour in support of 2013’s “Lightning Bolt.”
