Iron Maiden share video tour of Ed Force One

Iron Maiden hooked up with Made In Cardiff to share a video tour of Ed Force One, the Boeing 747 that will carry the band around the globe on their Book Of Souls world tour.

Hundreds of fans turned up at Cardiff Airport recently to see the group’s jumbo jet arrive and stocked with gear for the 2016 run in support of 2015’s double-album, “The Book Of Souls.”

Ed Force One will be piloted by singer Bruce Dickinson.

Iron Maiden will kick off the 2016 shows with three US concerts starting February 24 in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Produced by Kevin Shirley and recorded in Paris in 2014, the band’s 16th album delivered Iron Maiden a No. 4 debut on the US Billboard 200 with opening week sales of 75,000 copies.

The tally scores the band’s best US week since Nielsen Music started tracking sales in 1991, and the showing equals Iron Maiden’s best chart ranking ever – matching the No. 4 placement of 2010’s “The Final Frontier.”

The project also topped three separate charts in their native UK upon its release, scoring No. 1 positions on the UK albums, Official Vinyl Albums and the Official Record Store charts.
