Alice In Chains announce North American tour

Alice In Chains have announced dates for the first leg of a summer tour of North America.

The Seattle rockers – who opened a pair of Guns N’ Roses reunion shows in Las Vegas last month – will launch the 2016 run at Schnitzer Hall in Portland, OR on July 6.

Ticket pre-sales start May 12 with general public seats available May 13 at 10am local time via the usual outlets.

Alice In Chains’ most recent release is 2013’s “The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here.”

Produced by Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Deftones), the project marked singer William DuVall’s second album with the group - following 2009’s “Black Gives Way To Blue” – since he joined the band in 2006.

The Seattle band’s fifth album sold 62,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 2 on The Billboard 200 chart.
