AUDIO: Cheap Trick drummer Bun E. Carlos covers Paul Revere & The Raiders classic

Original Cheap Trick drummer Bun E. Carlos is joined by Hanson on a cover of the Paul Revere & The Raiders classic, “Him Or Me (What’s It Gonna Be)”, on his upcoming solo album debut “Greetings From Bunezuela!”

Originally issued on Revere’s seventh album, 1967’s “Revolution!”, the single hit No. 5 on the US Billboard Hot 100 while the project peaked at No. 25 on the US Billboard 200.

The track is the second preview of Carlos’ record following the lead single, “Do Something Real.”

Due June 24, “Greetings From Bunezuela!” features 13 rockers including 11 covers of songs originally done by The Rolling Stones, The Who, Bob Dylan, Them, the Bee Gees and more.

The project features guest vocalists including Dave Pirner of Soul Asylum, original Cheap Trick singer Xeno, Alejandro Escovedo and Wilco’s John Stirratt, among others.

Carlos and members of Cheap Trick were inducted into 2016 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in April.

The drummer left the group’s touring lineup in 2010 and was replaced by guitarist Rick Nielsen’s son Daxx.
