The Rolling Stones announce Las Vegas show

The Rolling Stones have announced an October 19 date at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV.

The band’s first show in the city in three years will come on the heels of their performances at the Desert Trip Festival in Indio, California on October 7 and 14.

Tickets for the Las Vegas concert will go on sale Friday, June 17 at 10am PT at axs.com

The inaugural Desert Trip event is produced by organizers of the annual Coachella Festival on the same site.

Running October 7-9 and 14-16 at the Empire Polo Club, the Stones and Bob Dylan will perform on Fridays, Paul McCartney and Neil Young on Saturdays and Roger Waters and The Who will close out Sunday evenings.

The Rolling Stones have just released a new live collection, “Totally Stripped.”

The set expands on the 1995 unplugged album, “Stripped”, which delivered acoustic and alternate versions of the band’s classics alongside select covers of tunes by Bob Dylan and Robert Johnson, among others.
