Metallica seeks fans for video shoot

Metallica are looking for fans to participate in a video shoot for an undisclosed track from their forthcoming album, “Hardwired…To Self Destruct.”

Set to be filmed on October 11-12 in the San Francisco Bay Area, the band has issued casting calls for multiple roles of all ethnicities for the two-day shoot.

Interested fans must submit current photos and more to apply; full details are available at metallica.com

The shoot confirms the group’s plans for a third video from the project following the lead track “Hardwired” and the current single, “Moth Into Flame.”

Produced by Greg Fidelman, guitarist James Hetfield and drummer Lars Ulrich, “Hardwired…To Self Destruct” features a dozen new songs over a two-disc set, with a Deluxe Edition adding a bonus disc of rarities and covers.
