Aerosmith announce farewell tour

Aerosmith have announced the first series of dates for a farewell tour.

Billed as “Aero-Vederci Baby!”. the Boston band revealed a 2-month run across Europe next summer that combines headlining concerts with festival appearances – including UK’s Download, Spain’s Rock Fest, France’s Hellfest, Italy’s Firenze Rocks and the Sweden Rock Festival.

"Aerosmith just got done ripping through South America like true ambassadors of rock,” says Steven Tyler. “The band is unstoppable right now and in Europe, we're going to keep doing what we do best... Let The Music Do The Talking...Living On The Edge, and living to rock another day."

“It’s been 3 years since we have been on tour in Europe,” adds Joe Perry, “and I can speak for my brothers that we can’t wait to get over there and take it up a few notches. Last tour in South America we were running on all cylinders and I can see no reason to let up now."

Tickets for the majority of the Aero-Vederci Tour dates will go on sale on November 18; check your local ticket provider for complete details.

Formed in Boston, MA in 1970, Aerosmith have sold more than 100 million albums and were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2001.
