Metallica to launch new album with intimate London show



Metallica will launch their tenth album, “Hardwired…To Self Destruct”, with an intimate concert at London, UK’s House Of Vans on November 18.

“The release day eight years in the making!!,” says the band. “And what better way to celebrate than a live show for Fifth Members and winners who register via the House Of Vans site at the very intimate and exclusive London House Of Vans!

“Fifth Members may enter for a chance to win two tickets here and all fans may enter for a shot at tickets at houseofvanslondon.com starting at 10:00 AM today. All the lucky winners will be asked to make a £20 donation at the door to benefit The Railway Children, who assist children who live alone and at risk on the streets in the UK, India and East Africa. Metallica will begin their London adventure with a guest appearance on the BBC Radio 1 Rock Show with Daniel P Carter on November 17 after 7:00 PM before hosting their first UK in-store autograph signing session at HMV’s Oxford Street store starting at midnight.

The two-disc “Hardwired…To Self Destruct” was produced by Greg Fidelman, guitarist James Hetfield and drummer Lars Ulrich.

The package has been previewed with the lead tracks “Hardwired”, “Moth Into Flame”, and “Atlas, Rise!”

Metallica just wrapped up a 2-week series of dates across Latin America that doubled as the opening leg of the band’s WorldWired tour.
