Queensryche release Hellfire video

Queensryche have released a video for “Hellfire”, a track from their latest album, “Condition Human.”

The clip was inspired by the Malaysian passenger flight crisis in 2014, which saw Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 shot down by a surface-to-air missile launched from pro-Russian separatist-controlled territory in Ukraine, killing all 283 passengers and 15 crew on board.

"'Hellfire' is a depiction primarily based on the tragic events surrounding the Malaysian airline flight MH17,” explains singer Todd La Torre. “Despite the storyline's foundation, the lyrical and visual narrative transcends into other pertinent, global subject matters. Civil unrest, guerrilla warfare, media propaganda, and social inequalities are just some examples of the multifaceted issues marbled throughout 'Hellfire'. A poignant illustration of an unfortunate yet timeless reality."

The video’s release is in sync with Queensryche’s current fall US tour – with guests Armored Saint and Midnight Eternal – in support of “Condition Human.”

The month-long run wraps up in West Wendover, NV on December 16, after which the Seattle rockers will break for the holidays and begin 2017 with a pair of US casino dates and plans to enter the recording studio to begin work on a new album.
