Megadeth announce North American tour

Megadeth have announced dates for a summer tour of North America.

On the road supporting their 2016 release, “Dystopia”, the thrash veterans will be joined by Meshuggah, TesseracT and Lillake for shows beginning in Big Flats, NY on June 23.

The band has revealed the first three weeks of the summer trek, which will also see Megadeth perform at a series of festivals including Quebec’s Amnesia Rockfest, Wisconsin’s Rock USA and Rock Fest, and Chicago Open Air.

More dates will be announced shortly.

A Megadeth Cyber Army presale starts April 19 at 10am EDT, with general public seats available April 21.

Megadeth will follow the summer shows with a rare opening slot on a fall North American tour with the Scorpions.

Fall dates will begin in Reading, PA on September 14.

Megadeth will launch their 2017 live schedule at Pulp Summer Slam in the Philippines on April 29 before playing a month of shows across the Far East.

The group recently won their first-ever Grammy Award in the Best Metal Performance category for the title track to “Dystopia.”
