Ozzy Osbourne announces rescheduled dates following hand surgery

Ozzy Osbourne has announced a series of four rescheduled concert dates after they were cancelled following recent hand surgery on the legendary rocker.

Osbourne was hospitalized in Los Angeles to undergo treatment for multiple infections in his right hand.

The four cancelled shows were originally scheduled as follows: Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA (October 6), Mattress Firm Amphitheatre in Chula Vista, CA (October 9), the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA (October 11) and MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV (October 13).

The three California shows had previously been rescheduled following his initial prognosis from doctors.

Osbourne will now play the cancelled 2018 shows in July of 2019 (see list below) as part of his three-year farewell “No More Tours 2” trek, which celebrates five decades of music since the 1970 release of Black Sabbath’s self-titled debut album.

Ticketholders for the four shows should hold on to their tickets, as they will be honored for the rescheduled dates. Refunds are also available at point of purchase.

“I’m so bummed about cancelling these shows,” says Ozzy. “The tour had been going great and we were really looking forward to these last few gigs. We’re hoping everyone will be patient and we’ll look forward to seeing them at the shows next year.”

Osbourne will resume the world tour in Dublin, Ireland in late January.
