Guns N’ Roses announce first show of 2019

Guns N’ Roses have announced their first show of 2019.

The band will headline the Louder Than Life Festival at Highland Festival Grounds at KY Expo Center in Louisville, KY on Saturday, September 28.

The iconic group’s slot comes during the second day of the three-day event, which will see its lineup announced on Monday, April 8.

“There are only a handful of bands through the years whose music not only resonates with fans, but changes the entire face of rock ‘n’ roll," says event producer Danny Wimmer. "Guns N’ Roses is one of those true icons. Every year we want to come back bigger and better, and we can’t wait to welcome Axl, Slash, Duff and the rest of GN’R to the Louder Than Life stage.”

A presale for Guns N’ Roses Nightrain members is underway now, with general public tickets going on sale beginning Monday, April 8 at 9am local time.

Full event details are available at louderthanlifefestival.com.

The festival show will mark the group’s first concert since closing out the multi-year Not In This Lifetime reunion tour with their first-ever appearance in Honolulu, HI last December.

In the past few months, Slash has been on the road in support of his latest record, “Living The Dream”, while bassist Duff McKagan is gearing up for live shows promoting the May 31 release of his new album, “Tenderness.”
