Stone Temple Pilots have announced dates for a fall co-headlining US tour with Rival Sons.
The 12-city series will begin in Baltimore, MD on September 13 and see the two bands performing on intimate stages across the States including The Met Philadelphia, Ford Amphitheater in New York City, The Fillmore New Orleans and more, before wrapping up in San Diego, CA on October 9.
The four-week run will see full sets from both acts, as Stone Temple Pilots continue to tour in support of their 2018 self-titled album with singer Jeff Gutt, and Rival Sons promote their new record, “Feral Roots.”
“We are thrilled about this tour and grateful to share these upcoming shows with Rival Sons,” says STP guitarist Dean DeLeo. “A great band! They don’t make them like this anymore. Looking forward to seeing all of you!”
“We’re delighted to share the stage with the DeLeo brothers and STP! Not to mention performing together in some really great venues,” adds Rival Sons guitarist Scott Holiday. “These guys wrote some of the soundtrack to my childhood…and it’ll be killer to watch and listen to ‘em hit these gems every night!”
Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, May 3 at 12pm local time via the usual outlets.
