Ozzy Osbourne announces rescheduled European tour

Ozzy Osbourne has announced rescheduled shows in the UK and Europe as part of his farewell tour.

Originally set for early 2019, the “No More Tours 2” trek was initially delayed when Osbourne was hospitalized with a severe upper-respiratory infection; while recovering at home, the rocker sustained an injury that required surgery and led to the cancellation of his entire 2019 live schedule and, recently, a second postponement of the European run.

Now, Osbourne has revealed new dates for the late 2020 series – with guests Judas Priest – will begin on October 23 in Newcastle and run to early December.

"I can't wait to get off my ass and get going again, but you're just going to have to be a bit more patient,” says Ozzy. “I want to be 100% ready to come out and knock your socks off. I'm not retiring, I've still got gigs to do and also there's a new album on the way. To the fans, I sincerely thank you for your patience, your loyalty. I love you."

"We are very grateful for the rock-solid support from our wonderful UK and European fans as Ozzy gets well and strong,” adds Rob Halford of Judas Priest. “The UK and European tour will showcase the very best British metal from the ones that started it all and we proudly look forward to celebrating our 50 heavy metal years together with you."

Tickets remain valid for all rescheduled tour dates; refunds can be sought at point of purchase.

Last week, Osbourne released a new single, “Under The Graveyard”, as the first preview to his forthcoming album “Ordinary Man”; the project is due in January.
