The Rolling Stones have postponed their No Filter North American tour amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The 15-date series (see below) was scheduled to open May 8 in San Diego, CA and run to July 9 in Atlanta, GA.
“We’re hugely disappointed to have to postpone the tour,” says the band. “We are sorry to all the fans who were looking forward to it as much as we were, but the health and safety of everyone has to take priority.
“We will all get through this together – and we’ll see you very soon.”
Promoters AEG Presents and Concerts West advise ticketholders to hold onto their original tickets and await further information about the tour.
The No Filter series began in Europe in the fall of 2017 and continued there the following summer before playing North America last year after Jagger underwent heart valve replacement surgery last April.
To date, the Stones have played 45 shows to more than 2 million fans on the No Filter tour while becoming the first act to gross more than $400 million on two separate treks.
