Clutch detail The Obelisk box set ahead of Record Store Day release

Clutch will release their new limited edition box set, “The Obelisk”, on Saturday, October 24 as part of the third drop of Record Store Day.

Initially scheduled to surface in March but arriving later this week after many delays due to the ongoing pandemic, the package (limited to 2000 copies) features all of Clutch’s Weathermaker Music vinyl releases.

The box set delivers six double LP's, three 12" LPs, and three 12" picture discs all together, as well as a turntable mat and a square, artist signed lithograph.

“In 2008, Clutch launched Weathermaker Music,” says singer Neil Fallon. “Starting our own record label has proven to be one of the better decisions we made and ‘The Obelisk’ box set is evidence. It has been a long time coming, but we think it has been worth the wait.”

Record Store Day is always a unique celebration of one of a kind physical releases and your local record store. Find participating stores at recordstoreday.com.

The Maryland outfit’s most recent studio album is 2018’s “Book Of Bad Decisions.”
