Sammy Hagar covers 1970s classic Bad Case Of Loving You

Sammy Hagar & The Circle are streaming an abbreviated cover of the Moon Martin classic, “Bad Case Of Loving You (Doctor, Doctor)”, as the latest clip in the band’s Lockdown Sessions video series.

Originally issued by Martin on his 1987 album debut, “Shots From A Cold Nightmare”, the tune failed to chart before Robert Palmer covered it a year later on his fifth record, “Secrets”, and scored a US Top 20 hit with the track.

“I always loved this song written and recorded by Moon Martin, and taken to the top by the one and only Mr. Robert Palmer,” explains Hagar. “As we continue our @ Home Sessions, we hope to be able to bring it to you live in 2021. #FingersCrossed #DoctorOrders #TheCure #LiveRockAndRoll”

Hagar and the group issued an extensive series of songs from isolation last year, which were collected and issued on the recent release of “Lockdown 2020”; the set features versions of tunes originally done by The Who, Van Halen, David Bowie, AC/DC and others.
