Red Hot Chili Peppers announce tour dates for Europe and North America

The Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced dates for the European and North American legs of a 2022 world tour.

Set to open in Seville, Span on June 4, the series sees the return of guitarist John Frusciante to the lineup following a ten-year absence after the group announced in December 2019 that they had parted ways with Josh Klinghoffer; it marks Frusciante’s third stint with the group, after a four-year run that began in the late 1980s and a decade-long tenure that started in the late 1990s.

The trek – which marks the band's first-ever US stadium tour – will see the band performing their career-spanning hits as well as new music from their forthcoming album.

A Red Hot Chili Peppers fan presale begins Saturday, October 9 at 10 a.m. local time in North America, and Wednesday, October 13 at 10 a.m. local time in Europe; they both run through Thursday, October 14 at 10 p.m. local time on RedHotChiliPeppers.com.
