KISS and Motley Crue members to perform at Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert in Los Angeles

Gene Simmons of KISS and Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx are among the first artists confirmed to perform at The Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert at The Kia Forum in Los Angeles on September 27.

The second of two events will also feature Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Joan Jett, Alanis Morissette, Miley Cyrus, and others on a bill that will mix some of the artists who will also appear at a September 3 show at London’s Wembley Stadium - like Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson of Rush, Queen's Brian May and Roger Taylor, Stewart Copeland of The Police, Chrissie Hynde and Wolfgang Van Halen, among others.

More performers for the Los Angeles event will be announced soon.

The Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts will benefit charities in both the UK and the US chosen by the Hawkins family; beneficiaries and further details will be announced shortly.

Tickets for both concerts will go on sale Friday, June 17 at 9am local time. See also:
