Ozzy Osbourne streams new album Patient Number 9

Ozzy Osbourne is streaming his new album, “Patient Number 9”, in sync with its September 9 release.

The rocker’s thirteenth studio record sees Osbourne working with a core lineup of producer/guitarist Andrew Watt, Zakk Wylde, Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, and guests including Eric Clapton, Mike McCready of Pearl Jam, Taylor Hawkins of Foo Fighters, Duff McKagan of Guns N’ Roses and Chris Chaney of Jane’s Addiction, and – for the first time ever – Black Sabbath legend Tony Iommi appears on an Ozzy solo album.

First introduced with a title track that features Jeff Beck, the new record marks the follow-up to Osbourne’s 2020 album, “Ordinary Man.”

Ozzy launched the project with a halftime performance at the Los Angeles Rams NFL season opener at Sofi Stadium on September 8, after making his first live appearance in several years when he and Iommi reunited to close the 2022 Commonwealth Games in their hometown of Birmingham, UK last month.
