Metallica to perform residency on Jimmy Kimmel Live

Metallica will launch their new album, “72 Seasons”, with a week-long residency on ABC-TV’s late night program Jimmy Kimmel Live!

“We’re celebrating #72Seasons release week by taking over late night!,” says the band. “Catch us on Jimmy Kimmel Live on ABC Monday, April 10 - Thursday, April 13 for four live performances, one night of chatting on the couch, and whatever other fun Jimmy has in store for us.”

Due April 14 and produced by Greg Fidelman, James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich, “72 Seasons” is the first new Metallica studio album since 2016's “Hardwired...To Self-Destruct.”

First previewed late last fall with the lead single, “Lux AEterna”, Metallica have also shared “Screaming Suicide”, “If Darkness Had A Son” and the title track in advance of the project’s release.

You can pre-order “72 Seasons” here.
