Motley Crue guitarist Mick Mars releases new single Right Side Of Wrong

Motley Crue guitarist Mick Mars has released “Right Side Of Wrong” as the latest single from his forthcoming album, “The Other Side Of Mars”, ahead of its release on February 23.

The tune follows “Loyal To The Lie” as the second preview to the set, which saw Mars work with producer and engineer Michael Wagener, Winger and former Alice Cooper keyboardist Paul Taylor, and vocalist Jacob Bunton.

The supporting band was rounded out by Korn drummer Ray Luzier, as well as two additional in-demand Nashville musicians: bassist Chris Collier and singer Brion Gamboa, who contributed lead vocals to two songs, “Undone” and “Killing Breed,” both of which, Mars says, “required a little bit more of an angsty, desperation kind of thing. And Brion really came to the table with that.”

Last fall, Mars announced his retirement from touring as he continues to deal with his long struggle with Ankylosing spondylitis, a type of arthritis that affects the spine and worsens over time; Motley Crue brought in former Rob Zombie guitarist John 5 earlier this year to fill out their touring lineup.
