The mayor of Las Vegas has officially declared today (March 22nd) as Def Leppard Day to coincide with their residency, which launches tonight at The Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
“VIVA! Hysteria & More” will feature two sets from the band each show, with the second set featuring their iconic 1987 album “Hysteria,” from start to finish.
Leppard will perform 11 shows at The Joint between March 22 and April 13.
Earlier this week, Def Leppard released a newly recorded version of the song “Hysteria.”
The new single is the latest song re-recorded by the band as they were unable to come to an agreement with their former record label over digital rights fees.
Below is the video for the original version; head over to iTunes to check out and order the 2013 version of the track.
