VIDEO: Metallica perform classic 1988 track at Orion Music + More festival

Metallica has released footage of the band’s performance of the 1988 track, “Blackened,” at last month’s Orion Music + More festival.

The opening song from “..And Justice For All” was featured in Metallica’s headlining set, which closed out the weekend festival at Belle Isle in Detroit, MI.

The group also performed a surprise afternoon set on the festival’s opening day, which saw Metallica perform their 1983 debut album, “Kill ‘Em All,” in its entirety. Watch video of the full set here.

The June 8/9 event featured more than 30 bands across five live music stages plus a variety of activities and on-site events.
