VIDEO: Black Sabbath honored at 2013 Eyegore Awards

Black Sabbath were among those honored for their achievements in horror and sci-fi entertainment at Universal Studios Hollywood’s annual Eyegore Awards on September 20, and video from the event has surfaced.

Sharon Osbourne introduced husband Ozzy and bassist Geezer Butler and welcomed them to the stage to receive their award.

"I don’t know what to say, really,” said Ozzy. “It’s been an amazing year, as Sharon just said. We had a No. 1 record and a No. 1 world tour, and now this. What more can I say? Thank you very much, everybody. God bless you."

Following the event, Universal Studios launched the all-original 3D maze, “Black Sabbath: 13 3D”, as part of their Halloween Horror Nights event.

The new maze, based on the darkest lyrics from Black Sabbath’s biggest hit songs and the only attraction at the horror event to incorporate 3D video, also includes scenes inspired by the band’s latest album, “13”.

You can check out video of the“Black Sabbath: 13 3D” maze here.

Black Sabbath recently completed a North American tour in support of their new album, and will start a Latin American tour in Santiago, Chile this Friday, October 4.
