Motley Crue singer denies Celebrity Apprentice rumours

Motley Crue singer Vince Neil is denying rumours that he will appear on the next season of NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice.

"Been off for awhile,” tweeted Neil. “New phone password didn't work! The rumor about apprentice was started by a loser wannabe reporter Norm Clark who I haven't seen or talked to in over 2 years! I've talked to the show but that's it! But if I got the offer I'd do it!! Sounds fun!!"

Last week, Norm Clarke at the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that Neil has been telling friends he’s heading for Donald Trump’s boardroom on the show’s upcoming season – read more details here.

If the Crue frontman were to join the series, Vince would be following in the footsteps of other rockers who have appeared on the show, including Poison’s Bret Michaels, Meat Loaf and Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider.

Vince and Motley Crue recently wrapped up their second Las Vegas residency at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, where they played an exclusive 12-show run from September 18 through October 6.
