Over the next ten days, we’ll be counting down the Top 10 Rock News Stories of the past year.
Finalists for the 16th annual hennemusic Rock News Awards are chosen by readers: the Rock News Story Of The Year is determined by page views, while the Rock News Artist Of The Year is based on the combined total page views of the top 50 hennemusic rock news stories of the past twelve months.
The 2025 hennemusic Rock News Awards winners will be announced on Wednesday, December 24.
Rock News Story Of The Year No. 10: ALTER BRIDGE
In July, Alter Bridge announced details of a new album and tour.
Due January 9, 2026, the band will release a self-titled, eighth studio album via Napalm Records as the follow-up to its 2022 set, “Pawns & Kings.”
The group worked with longtime collaborator and producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette on the project, which was recorded over the course of two months this spring in the legendary 5150 studio in California and Elvis’ recording studio in Florida.
