The video sees the members of band performing in front of a mural of late Motorhead icon Lemmy Kilmister when the show is invaded by zombies.
Written and directed by Dave Grohl, with casting by Harper Grohl (who also features in the video), "Spit Shine" is a nightmare come true for connoisseurs of disemboweling, dismemberment and rock and roll.
The clip follows videos for “Window”, "Of All People", "Caught In The Echo, "Asking For A Friend", and the title track.
The band recorded its 12th full-length studio set at home; it was co-produced by Foo Fighters and Oliver Roman, engineered by Oliver Roman and mixed by Mark "Spike" Stent.
The band will perform at a pair of US festivals – including Welcome to Rockville in Daytona Beach, FL on May 8, and BottleRock Napa Valley in Napa, CA on May 23 – before they open the Take Cover world tour, which kicks off June 10th at Unity Arena in Oslo.
A mix of shows and festivals are part of the Foo Fighters dates across Europe into mid-July, before opening the North American tour August 4 in Toronto, ON.
