Rush have added four new US cities to their Fifty Something Tour.
Arena shows have been added in Houston, St. Louis, Cincinnati and Pittsburgh.
“When we initially booked this tour we didn’t know how well we would hold up to the rigours of the road,” says Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, “so we played it safe with lots of days off to recover – but life is nothing if not surprising and we’re doing fine and having a blast – so why not try to hit a few more of the cities that have always treated us so well.”
Tickets and VIP for these four new dates will go on sale on Friday, September 4 at 10 a.m. local time, with presales beginning Tuesday, September 1 at 10 a.m. local.
Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets beginning Tuesday, September 1 at 10 a.m. local time until Thursday, September 3 at 10 p.m. local time through the Citi Entertainment program.
Lee and Lifeson recently returned to action under the Rush banner: the “50 Something Tour” has been built as a tribute to their late drummer Neal Peart, with the duo joined by acclaimed drummer Anika Nilles and keyboardist Loren Gold.
The special "evening with" performances feature two sets each night, with Rush building every setlist from a catalogue of 40 songs for this tour spanning the band's celebrated five-decade career.
Rush continues to perform a special “evening with” shows in cities across Canada, the United States, Mexico, South America, UK, and EU into 2027.
