Ace Frehley to play full 1978 solo debut at Hard Rock Hell V

As "Space Ace," Ace Frehley always billed himself as a time traveler: now he’s doing it in front of an audience.

In a unique concert offering by Frehley, the former KISS guitarist will perform his 1978 solo album - in its entirety - during his appearance at the Hard Rock Hell V festival.

Fans will hear everything from “Rip It Out” to “Speeding Back To My Baby” to “New York Groove,” alongside KISS classics like “Rocket Ride,” “Shock Me” and “Parasite.”

The Festival happens December 2-4, 2011 at Pontins in Prestatyn, North Wales; Frehley will headline the event on Saturday, December 3.

Among the other bands playing the festival are Therapy?, Girlschool, The Quireboys, Magnum, Wolfsbane and more.

Ace's current solo touring band includes Scot Coogan (drums, vocals), Anthony Esposito (bass, vocals) and new guitarist Todd Youth.

In the past few weeks, Frehley has confirmed a bunch of dates for this summer, including a headline gig at the inaugural Slinger Rocks concert at Slinger Speedway, just north of Milwaukee.
