Following his appearance at Macy’s in New York City on Friday evening to promote the new Andrew Charles rock 'n' roll inspired fashion line for men and women, Steven Tyler rocked the after-party – and birthday party – for designer Andy Hilfiger.

The bash was the opening night event for pop-up clothing store Riff, located at 313 Bowery in the space formerly occupied by the Morrison Hotel Gallery...and right next door to the former home of iconic NYC club CBGB’s.

Hilfiger was doing his birthday up right, playing the event with his band, Hired Killers, Inc.

Tyler surprised the packed crowd by not only showing up, but singing Happy Birthday to Hilfiger, and joining Hired Killers for some tracks, including “Walkin’ The Dog” and “Mama Kin.”
