AUDIO: Chris Cornell rocks Led Zeppelin, John Lennon on Howard Stern

Chris Cornell’s "Songbook" tour continues as the Soundgarden singer brings some acoustic tunes to his fans.

Despite rescheduling some gigs in the first week of the tour due to a bout of laryngitis, Cornell is back on his feet and wowing fans with material from his “Songbook” album, due out on Tuesday (21).

On the day of its release, Cornell plays New York’s prestigious Carnegie Hall.

“Songbook” features Cornell doing his own songs, as well as a few covers – including Led Zeppelin’s “Thank You” and John Lennon’s “Imagine.”

During a visit to the Howard Stern show last week, Chris played the Lennon and Zeppelin tunes live on the program.
