Led Zeppelin bassist receives fellowship from UK college

Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones is to receive some special honors today.

The News Shopper reports Jones will receive an honorary fellowship from Deptford's Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.

Jones will join the ranks of other acclaimed artists who have received the honor, including Oscar nominated composer John Powell.

Jones is a member of Them Crooked Vultures, and has been joining blues man Seasick Steve at various gigs over the past year.
