Guns N’ Roses: Slash unsure of Rock Hall induction plans

April 14 is approaching and no one – including members of the band – knows what will happen with the original Guns N’ Roses lineup at their Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony in Cleveland.

There’s been speculation from every corner of the globe on this one, as hopes are high that GNR will put aside their differences for a few hours – hell, a few minutes, really – and pull things together to accept their induction gracefully.

Beyond that, the biggest hope is the original GNR hit the stage to perform on the history-making occasion.

Slash is the latest to be asked about the Rock Hall plans, and he tells Mike Jones of Washington D.C. station DC101 that he’s in the dark as much as anyone else.

"I know that there's a lot of rumor about it, as always when it comes to GNR, out there on the Internet and stuff," said the guitarist. "But as it stands right this second, I have no idea what's going on."

Slash does think it’s an honor to be associated with the Hall.

“It was very flattering to get that initial phone call saying that we were nominated,” said Slash. “That was the biggest news, right there. And then when we actually got inducted – cuz I didn’t know if we were going to get inducted right away – so ya, I’m pretty stoked.”
