Jack White debuts atop UK album chart

Jack White’s debut solo album, “Blunderbuss,” has debuted at #1 on the UK album charts.

The Official Charts Company reports White toppled the mighty Adele this week, outselling her massive “21” album by more than two copies to one, moving the UK singer to the #2 spot.

White debuted material from the album last Monday night (April 23) in London at his first ever solo show in the country.

This past Friday, Jack rocked a live show at New York’s Webster Hall; the show was also webcast and directed by legendary actor Gary Oldman. Watch the full show here.
